In 2021, I have launched Granular Studio, a multidisciplinary research design studio focused on exploring advanced processes. As part of the initial research to establish the language of the studio, I have developed processes of mold making to experiment with material especially with concrete. These are sample tests that are made of strong GFRC mixes that are intended to be part of future larger scale projects (furniture, sculptures, building materials, etc.) The forms are created with either casting on found objects, or digitally or handmade fabricated formwork to create rubber molds for the concrete to pour into.
